Shahrukh copies Mahesh Babu's top scene

Several paid premieres of the much-hyped commercial potboiler of Bollywood 'Chennai Express' starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have been held across the World since Thursday evening. The film garnered unanimous super-hit talk and already began shattering the openings records of Hindi Film Industry.

Telugu audience who thronged the theatres to catch the first day first show of 'Chennai Express' expecting something new from the B-Town Baadshah got a pleasant surprise. Mahesh Babu's 'Okkadu' scene (Interval Bang) where the protagonist saves Bhumika from Prakash Raj and fleds the spot in a Gypsy has been directly lifted by director Rohit Shetty for his 'Chennai Express'. Will SRK & CO., gives the credit to Mahesh & Co., for using a top scene?

Interestingly, Producer Boney Kapoor acquired the Hindi remake rights of 'Okkadu' and planning to make the film with his son Arjun Kapoor as the lead. Will he now take legal action against the makers of 'Chennai Express' or goes for a change in the script? One particular scene led to too many issues! Mayn't be a great feeling for a star of Shahrukh Khan's stature and highly successful director like Rohit Shetty (Golmaal franchise, Singham, Bol Bachchan).
