Hue and cry over Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: For three days in a row, 'chieftains' from Seemandhra region broke their silence one after the other and lashed out at the Congress high command for its decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh and form separate Telangana state. The mighty trio shed tears for breaking up a unified Telugu state into two, raised issues on sharing of water, power, other resources and government staff and, more importantly, on the status of Hyderabad. It was clear that they were highlighting the concerns of their constituents in Seemandhra and lakhsof people of other regions living in Telangana.
Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was the first 'chieftain' to raise the hackles of the Congress high command and the T bandwagon by virtually questioning the wisdom of central leadership in embarking on creation of separate Telangana state
